Cauliflower Fried Rice
The method that we use to cook all of our cauliflower rice recipes is called the dry cook method. We essentially over cook the cauliflower until it has no moisture left, then we add in our flavors and additional moisture.
If you use the dry cook method correctly, the result is a fluffy and delicious rice substitute that is the closest thing to actual rice that you are going to get!

Ingredients
Fried "Rice"
- 10 ounces of frozen cauliflower rice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 egg
- 2 green onions sliced thin
- salt and pepper to taste
- other options: small diced onion, diced bell peppers or other peppers, or any other keto friendly veggies!
Instructions
- Microwave frozen cauliflower rice for 6 minutes on high, if you prefer to not microwave you'll cook the rice in the pan twice as long.
- Add cauliflower rice to a dry pan on low-medium heat. Cook until completely dry. (10 mins)
- Add in butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste, ginger paste.
- Make a well in the pan and crack your egg into it. Scramble to the egg in the well and then distribute the scrambled egg into the cauliflower rice.
- Top with green onion.
